About Mountain Burgers CanadaFamily Legacy of Thick, Juicy AAA Lean Burgers
Mountain Burgers Canada isn’t just a business—it’s a family tradition that began with love, passion, and a grill. Our story starts with Ron Potter, a retired captain from the Oshawa Fire Department, who dedicated his Sundays to family BBQs back in the 1980s. Those Sundays became legendary, as Dad would gather kids and family members to grill his massive, juicy burgers.
It wasn’t just about the food; it was about bringing people together. With a cold beer in hand and a smile on his face, Ron turned simple Sundays into cherished memories filled with laughter, stories, and the irresistible aroma of burgers sizzling on the grill.
Ron passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving behind a legacy of love, unity, and those unforgettable burgers. Inspired by his memory, the Potter family decided it was time to share this tradition with the world. After heartfelt discussions with family members, we knew the best way to honor Dad’s legacy was to make his burgers available to everyone.
Today, Mountain Burgers brings you those same AAA Lean-Grade, handmade, thick, and juicy patties that started as a family tradition. Every bite carries the passion and dedication of Ron Potter and the love of the Potter family.
